FYR of Macedonia Railways celebrate 140 years of Rail Transport

The first railway connection between Thessaloniki and Veles was established in April 1873, marking the beginning of a new era in relations between the countries.
UIC takes this opportunity to warmly congratulate the Railways of the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia MZ-I and MZ-T, both UIC members, for this 140th anniversary of railways in this country.
