Following a public tender issued in October 2012 for the operation of 307 press sales outlets in railway stations, SNCF’s Stations and Connections division has chosen retailer RELAY as best meeting the main criteria outlined in the tender specifications, in particular due to its:

  • Wide selection of press material
  • Thorough understanding of the various types of customer and particularities of each location
  • Multi-pronged strategy across the network geared to different station passenger types and profiles, one strand of which is specifically dedicated to commuters

Stations and Connections is the division of SNCF Group in charge of managing and developing France’s 3000 stations. Its aim is to make city centres both functional and comfortable living environments for citizens. Stations and Connections undertakes station development projects in collaboration with local authorities and regional stakeholders. Its priority is to improve basic public service in stations for passengers and carriers and to modernise and adapt stations to meet the latest customer needs.
