ALAMYS 27th General Assembly (Buenos Aires, 26-30 November)

The 27th ALAMYS General Assembly of will be held in Buenos Aires, Argentina from 26th to 30th November 2013, sponsored by the Government of the City of Buenos Aires. The event will be a key international reference point for the development of public transport systems in Latin American and Iberian Peninsula cities.

Top speakers from around the world will participate in high level debates on topical issues. The parallel celebration of the 100th anniversary of “subte” (Buenos Aires subway) will guarantee the success of this unique event. The accompanying exhibition will showcase the latest developments, projects and products from leading companies in the sector.

Book these dates in your diary and participate in the most important public transport and metropolitan railway event in Latin America and the Iberian Peninsula to be held in 2013.

On 12 December 2012, an agreement for cooperation was signed between UIC and ALAMYS (the Latin American Association of Metros and Subways).

Thanks to this agreement, ALAMYS and UIC will cooperate in work relating to suburban and regional passenger transport, a natural and logical complement to Intercity and High Speed Rail services throughout the UIC Forum of Commuters & Regional Train Services.
The agreement focus on common participation in conferences and other events as well as on preparing and distributing studies and reports.
