Luxembourg: CFL cargo strengthens its teams

Effective 1 August, Mr Ghislain Bartholomé will take over the position of Chief Operations Officer of CFL cargo. Mr Andreas Friedl has been confirmed for the post of Chief Executive Officer of CFL cargo Deutschland.

Mr Andreas Friedl, aged 43, has many years of experience in the rail freight industry. Before joining CFL cargo Deutschland, he held positions with, among others, Rail4Chem GmbH, Veolia Cargo Deutschland GmbH and CTL Logistics GmbH. As of May 2014, he has been acting as designated CEO of CFL cargo Deutschland and, as of 1 August, Mr Friedl is officially taking over the CEO position.

Mr Ghislain Bartholomé, aged 53, started his career in the rail freight industry more than 20 years ago. During this period, he held several positions, ranging from operations activities to various planning and management positions. At CFL cargo, Mr Bartholomé will be heading the operations departments in Luxembourg and in the different subsidiaries. In particular, he will be responsible for the centralised coordination of all traffic of the CFL cargo group.
