The Argus Black Sea and Caspian Transportation Corridor International Forum was held from 24 – 25 September 2014 in Batumi, Georgia, at the Radisson Blu hotel. The Head of Government of the Autonomous Republic of Ajaria, Mr Archil Habadze, addressed a welcoming speech to the Forum’s participants.
Representatives of oil and large transport logistics companies, oil processing plants as well as consumers of fuel from Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, Iran, Turkey, Romania, Bulgaria, Uzbekistan, Afghanistan, Kazakhstan, Russia and other countries, participated in the Forum.
The International Forum focused on the following main themes:
- Prospects of developing a transport corridor between Azerbaijan and Georgia, new alternatives;
- Transport logistics and tariff policy — from the Caspian Sea to the Black Sea, from Central Asia to Europe;
- Assessment of freight flows of liquid oil and dry freight;
- New regional projects for transport hubs;

- Vladislav Mishenko – Vice-President of Argus Media
- Nugzar Katamadze – Petrocas Energy Group
- Levan Kankava – Deputy Director General of Marabda-Kartsakhi Railway
- Giorgy Kiladze – Director General of the Batumi Oil Terminal
The conference lasted two days and on September 25 come to an end with a survey of the main oil terminals on the Black Sea coast.
