As part of France’s railway reform, Jacques Rapoport and Guillaume Pepy have announced the creation of a new branch dedicated to the management, planning and making optimum use of real estate assets of the new group (not including passenger stations which are managed by the Gares & Connexions division).

Sophie Boissard has been appointed by Guillaume Pepy, from 1 November 2014, as Executive Director of SNCF Immobilier, the new real estate division of SNCF Group.

Sophie Boissard, who created SNCF’s Gares & Connexions division in 2009, was Deputy Director for Strategy and Development from 2012. Her responsibilities included overseeing the preparations for the reform, which she will continue to monitor until 31 December 2014.
