The Commercial and Distribution Forum was held on 6 November 2014 at UIC headquarters in Paris, the meeting place for high-level representatives of Passenger Departments of various different companies.

The meeting started with a discussion about the budget of the different projects. It was followed by a report on the current activities of the Commercial Group and another one on the current activities of the Technical Group. There was a lively discussion about the MERITS/ PRIFIS project and a presentation was given on the future developments of the Commercial Group and the Forum under the new chairmanship. UIC Leaflet 120 was approved, and according to this leaflet, Sabine Dambuyant (SNCF) was elected as the new president for the auditing working group for the next 18 months and Mr Jörg Jordan (DB) was elected for the following year and a half. There were also reports from CIT and CER regarding their latest news.

The Forum was attended by representatives of NMBS/SNCB, ZSSK, Trainose, Trenitalia, RENFE, DB, SNCF, CFF/SBB, NS, DSB, CD, ATOC, BDZ and ÖBB.
