UIC Asia-Pacific and JSC Russian Railways will organise an international workshop on training simulators for locomotive crews which will take place in Moscow, from 17 – 18 February 2015.

During this workshop, participants will exchange views and discuss the following topics: the existing and prospective development of training simulators for locomotive crews, their technical parameters and training programmes using the various types of training simulators. Technical visits will be organised to the Training Centres of JSC Russian Railways where various types of simulators are installed.

This workshop aims at continuing to share good practice on simulation, launched as early as June 2007 by UIC. UIC and JSC Russian Railways sincerely welcome experts and inputs not only from UIC Asia-Pacific region, but also from all the members of all the regions interested in this topic.
