During its session held on 16 January, the Serbian Government decided to appoint Mr Miroslav Stojcic as Director General of Serbian Railways JSC, and Mr Rajko Kovic and Mr Nenad Kecman as two Executive Directors. The Assembly of Serbian Railways JSC has appointed the above-mentioned directors according to the Government proposal, and has also appointed Mr Miroslav Stojcic as Chairman of the Board of Directors.

This is the very first time that the Director General of Serbian Railways has been selected in a public competition, and all three directors have extensive experience in working at Serbian Railways JSC.
The new Director General of Serbian Railways JSC, Mr Miroslav Stojcic, holds a degree in Traffic Engineering and his experience in the railway field comes from the fact that he has spent his entire career in leading positions within Serbian Railways JSC.
