The “Densaulyk” medical train, launched simultaneously with two other medical trains “Salamatty Kazakhstan” and “Zhardem”, within the framework of the Republican campaign “Train Menin Kazakhstanym”, continues to provide care to residents of the Almaty and Zhambyl regions.
Over the next month, these medical trains will provide expert care to residents of the most remote stations and sidings. Currently doctors are receiving people until the last visitor, and if needed doctors will attend to patients at home.
According to the chief doctor of the “Densaulyk” train Zharas Kaldybaeva, “During the day we examine about 200 people, carry out minor surgery, people get full dental treatment, professional counselling, and referrals for further treatment.”
“Not all people living in remote areas are able to get timely medical care, so people eagerly await the arrival of our trains,” said Z. Kaldybaev.
During the train operation, medical assistance was provided to 12,136 people, 54,363 visits were made by physicians, more than 11,654 medical and laboratory studies were conducted, in 2876 small surgeries, and dentists treated 1,642 patients.
