The presentation of a train service management centre was held on 7 April 2015 at JSC Georgian Railways. Director General of JSC Georgian Railway Mr Mamuka Bakhtadze and Director of the Freight Transport Branch Mr Aleksi Nikolaishvili cut the ribbon in a celebratory atmosphere and congratulated the staff of the centre on the start of the work in a renewed environment.

Repair works in the controller’s office ended recently. The centre, equipped with modern technologies, enables train movements to be controlled more effectively.
According to the statement of Director General of JSC Georgian Railways Mr Mamuka Bakhtadze, a considerable sum will be allocated from next year’s budget to improve monitoring and the purchase of new technologies.
