The 5th meeting of the working group was held in St Petersburg at the invitation of Russian Railways from 4 – 5 June 2015.
The objective of the group is to exchange experience and information related to cyber crime in the railway environment and to establish recommendations regarding data protection.
UIC was represented by Marc Antoni, Director of UIC Rail System Department and Marie-Hélène Bonneau from the UIC Security Division.
Russian best practices were presented by RZD as well as the Petersburg State Transport University. In addition, presentations on national experiences were given by SNCF (French Railways), PKP PLK (Polish infrastructure manager) and FSI (Italian Railways).
A draft document on “Guidelines for Using Forces and Tools to Prevent and Detect Computer Attacks against Railway Transport Information Infrastructure” prepared by RZD was then discussed.
The result of the working group will be presented at the spring conference of Colpofer to be held from 11 – 12 June 2015 in Utrecht.
