The California High-Speed Rail Authority (Authority) announced the appointment of Justin Chechourka as its new Multimedia Manager. As Multimedia Manager, Chechourka will develop and implement a statewide multimedia strategy to educate the public about the high-speed rail program through enterprising stories, video production, animation and social media.
“Multimedia enhances our ability to educate the public of the many benefits of high-speed rail,” said CEO Jeff Morales. “Justin brings with him a wealth of experience and will be an integral part of our communications team.”
For the last 14 years, Chechourka has worked as a television producer at stations throughout California. Most recently he served as a senior producer at KCRA (NBC) in Sacramento where he wrote and developed newscasts, stories, promotions and online content. He was in charge of launching a new morning newscast that is now ranked as one of the top shows in the market.
