A Gysev Cargo room has been inaugurated at the University of West-Hungary. The ceremony was held before the graduation ceremony of the Faculty of Economics.

Following in the footsteps of other higher education institutions, the first lecture halls and seminar rooms of the Faculty of Economics of the University of West-Hungary have been given a name.

The first lecture hall was named after Prof Erzsébet Gidai, founding dean of the faculty. It was followed by Room Béres, which received its name on 1 September 2014 after Dr József Béres, a former researcher and Széchenyi-prize recipient. Another seminar room has been named College for Advanced Studies since the academic year 2014/15.

The seminar room named after Gysev Zrt. and Gysev Cargo Zrt. was officially inaugurated during the graduation ceremony of the Faculty of Economics of the university by Dr Attila Fábián, faculty dean, and Szilárd Kövesdi CEO of Gysev.

Both Gysev Zrt. and Gysev Cargo Zrt. maintain very good relations with the University of West-Hungary and the Széchenyi University in Győr. It is extremely important for both railway companies to ensure an adequate number of well-qualified professionals on a continuous basis, which is why we have concluded strategic agreements with these higher education institutions. The seminar rooms named after our railway undertakings are another good opportunity to direct the attention of talented youngsters ahead of graduation to our companies

, – said Szilárd Kövesdi, CEO of GYSEV Zrt., on the occasion of the inauguration of the room.
