The IRT (Integrated Reservation Tickets) working group held a meeting at the UIC Head Quarters in Paris on 7 and 8 September. Representatives from CD, DB, Linkon, Thalys, ÖBB, MAV-START, HIT Rail, SNCB/NMBS, SNCF and CIT were present. The meeting was chaired by Mr Laurent Pollet, president of the working group.

Several topics were discussed during this meeting: it started with the updating of SCIC-IRT rules document with suggestions made by the different companies. This was followed by a presentation made by Thalys about their fare offer. During the second day, attendees provided feedback on the suggested IRT Fare-Information Sharing Format, and there was a presentation on the new suggested template made by DB. Finally, the main issues regarding the new online sharing platform were discussed: tool scope, timescales, suggested architecture…

The group will continue the work over the next months. The next meeting will take place in February/March 2016.
