It is with great sadness that UIC was informed that Carl-Henrik Lundström, former Director of International Affairs and former Director of Passenger Traffic at Danish State Railways (DSB), passed away on 4 January 2016.

UIC wants to pay tribute to the strong and continuous commitment of Carl-Henrik Lundtröm to UIC activities over the past 25 years, in particular with regard to the organisation of UIC congresses on Freight and High Speed Rail, the representation of DSB at UIC Statutory Meetings and the Passenger Forum and a number of other railway cooperation bodies.

The UIC Board of Directors and Headquarters teams express their sincere condolences to DSB and to the spouse and family of Carl-Henrik Lundström.
