France: SITA announces the arrival of Barbara Dalibard as new CEO

Florence Parly is named Managing Director of SNCF Voyageurs

SITA is the world’s leading specialist in air transport communications and information technology.

Whilst congratulating Barbara Dalibard on her appointment as CEO of SITA, the President of SNCF Mobility Guillaume Pepy thanked her for six years of service at the helm of SNCF Voyageurs. Under Ms Dalibard’s leadership, customer satisfaction and experience on TGV trains have come a long way.

Barbara Dalibard was responsible for turning Eurostar and Thalys into railway companies and succeeded in meeting the challenge of developing high speed lines in Europe.

Barbara Dalibard was also responsible for the creation of IDBus in 2012 and Ouigo, the low cost TGV service in 2013.

At the helm of SNCF Voyageurs for the last two years, Ms Dalibard modernised distribution and customer relations of all passenger activities and launched new door-to-door services (IDVroom, IDCab, IDPass).

Guillaume Pepy names Florence Parly Managing Director of SNCF Voyageurs. Ms Parly will take up her new role from 1 May 2016.

As executive general manager in charge of strategy and finance for the past 18 months, Florence Parly has eight years of experience in the area of travel and tourism within the Air France Group. She will lead 70,000 staff within SNCF Voyageurs, which in 2015 achieved sales revenues of 15 billion euros.
