Croatia: HŽ Infrastruktura begins work on the currently biggest infrastructure project on the Dugo Selo – Križevci section

At HŽ Infrastruktura headquarters, contracts were concluded on 29 April 2016 for the Dugo Selo – Križevci Railway Section Upgrade and Construction of Second Track. The project, which encompasses work performance and supervision, is worth one billion 254 million HRK, and 85% will be financed by EU funds, while the remaining 15% is financed by national funds.

HŽ Infrastruktura signed contracts with a consortium made up of the Croatian companies DIV d.o.o., DALEKOVOD d.d. and ZAGREB-MONTAŽA d.o.o., while the contract for work supervision was signed with a consortium consisting of the Croatian companies SGS Adriatica and Investinženjering.
Work is to commence during the summer of 2016, and its completion is planned for the first half of 2020.

The contract signing ceremony was attended by the First Deputy Prime Minister of Croatia, Mr Tomislav Karamarko, the Minister of Maritime Affairs, Transport and Infrastructure, Mr Oleg Butković, the Minister of Regional Development and EU Funds, Mr Tomislav Tolušić, and the Minister of Construction and Physical Planning, Mr Lovro Kuščević.
