Mr Martin Vozár, MBA has been appointed Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of Železničná spoločnosť Cargo Slovakia, a.s. (ZSSK Cargo).

Born in 1970, Mr Vozár graduated from the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava, (Faculty of Mechanical Engineering) in 1994. After graduating he worked in the areas of management and development of companies and transformation of organisation structures.

Mr Vozár has a broad experience in the introduction of management processes, seeking and creating new business opportunities. He held managerial positions in several international companies in the USA (where he gained an MBA) and in Slovakia. Since 2012 he has acted as Executive Director and later as Business Development Director in the company STM POWER, a.s.

UIC congratulates Mr Martin Vozár on his new appointment and wishes him every success in his new role.
