The 9th APNRTC (Asia-Pacific Network of Railway Training Centres)
will be held, at the kind invitation of KORAIL, at the Belle-Essence Hotel, in Seoul, Korea, from 29th September to 1st October 2016.
The APNRTC is a network of rail professionals for the Asia Pacific region. It meets once a year to discuss common areas of interest for the region.

The next UIC IRaTCA, International Railway Training Centre for UIC Asia

opens the UIC Asia-Pacific Training Session 2016 entitled “High Speed Rail Systems”, from 10 to 14 October 2016 in Seoul, Korea.

The most important objectives of this training are to:

  • Provide an accurate and comprehensive overview of high speed rail systems
  • Provide managers with all the information needed to facilitate decision-making on the subject of high speed rail
  • Foster exchanges of experience and information about the latest developments in the field
  • Give a global vision of high speed rail to experts on some particular elements of the system
  • Benchmark and network on experiences from all around the world.

The 4th UIC Asia-Pacific Workshop on Control Command and Signalling (CCS)
will take place, at the kind invitation of Indian Railways, at the Taj Mahal Hotel in New Delhi, from 9 to 10 November 2016.

The project baseline of the CCS Development Technologies was initiated, established and approved at the UIC Asia Regional Assembly in December 2007. It is an integrated part of the UIC action line to achieve a Global Traffic Management and CCS development strategy. The workshop will provide the basis for core system requirements common to world railways and pave the way to using leading technologies.

Based on the successful three preceding editions, the workshop in New Delhi, in November, will be dedicated to Optimal Signalling Systems for Medium/High speed (160-200 Km/h).
