Mr Jigjidnyamaa Damdinsuren was appointed Chairman of Ulaanbaatar Railway – the Mongolian-Russian Joint Stock Company – in September 2016.
Mr Damdinsuren was born in 1965 in Ulaanbaatar and holds a postgraduate degree in Engineering Sciences from Moscow State University of Railway Engineering.
The new Chairman has previously held a number of responsibilities, including General Manager of MJC LLC (2005 – 2007), Vice-Chairman of the Mongolian-Russian Joint Stock Company Ulaanbaatar Railway in charge of Transportation (2007 – 2013), Director General of Freight and Commodity Consultants LLC (2013 – 2015) and Vice-Chairman of the Mongolian-Russian Joint Stock Company Ulaanbaatar Railway in charge of Transportation and Traffic (2015 – 2016).
