Sarra Rejeb, a graduate of the National Engineering School of Tunis (ENIT) in 1982, and a graduate of the French engineering school Ecole des Ponts et Chaussées in 1984, joined Tunisia’s Ministry of Transport in 1985 and served as Director General of Land Transport from 2007 – 2012.
Sarra Rejeb was CEO of urban transport company TRANSTU from 2012 – 2015, before becoming CEO of the Tunisian carrier Tunisair from April 2015 to December 2016 and succeeded Mrs Sabiha Derbel as head of Tunisian National Railways (SNCFT) on 30 December 2016.
In her capacity as CEO of SNCFT, Sarra Rejeb is also Chairman of the African Union of Railways (AUR), a dedicated institution of the African Union (AU).
Mrs Rejeb is married with three children.
