What is new in the UIC Security Division? Which are the current security topics and the next steps? What does the additional security programme for 2017 contain? In which EU projects are the UIC Security Division involved and what are the benefit for the railways?

This and some other questions were answered yesterday by Kathrin Faber, Senior Advisor Security Division, during a DB-security meeting. She talked together with the national security manager from different business units of the Deutsche Bahn AG on how the collaboration between DB AG and UIC can be expanded.

At the end the CSO of DB AG, Hans-Hilmar Rischke, came to the following conclusion: “The UIC is handling a wide range of security topics. We are going to support the UIC Security Division as much as possible. In the future, we should step up the use of the security network and exchange.”
