Iranian Railways (RAI) will attend Transport Logistic 2017 Exhibition from 9 – 12 May 2017 in Munich

Transport Logistic Exhibition, as the leading exhibition in the world in the field of logistics, mobility, IT, and Supply Chain Management will be held from 9 – 12 May 2017 in Munich, Germany.

This exhibition, with a 39-year history, has been held biennially since its inception. Over 55,000 trade visitors from 124 countries of the world and 2,050 exhibitors from 62 countries participated and attended in this exhibition in 2015.

In order to demonstrate its existing capacities, facilities and also present the special conditions of cargo transport and transit from the rail network of Iran, the Railways of the Islamic Republic of Iran (RAI) is participating in this exhibition and the stand of Iranian Railways is located in Hall 6 (the first hall from the entrance of the exhibition) with the stand number of 407.

Moreover, it should be mentioned that some conferences, seminars, and different programmes will be held concerning the related issues beside the exhibition during the exhibition days and accordingly, BVL, the biggest logistics association in Germany, will held a Forum on Iran called “Logistics market of Iran: Opportunities and rules of the game” on 10 May 2017 from 12:00 – 2:00 pm at Hall A6. Mr Hossein Ashoori, member of the board and chairman of the transit committee of RAI will be the keynote speaker of this forum on the subject of International Corridors Crossing Iran. This forum will be held with the presence of Transport and logistics companies form Europe and Asia.

Regarding the above, Iranian Railways (RAI) would like to invite all UIC members, international transport, forwarders and logistics companies to visit the stand of Iranian Railways in this exhibition so that mutual cooperation and other relevant interested issues to be discussed.
