On 2 October 2017, the Assembly of the company HŽ Passenger Transport adopted the Decision on the Appointment of Željko Ukić MSc as Chief Executive Officer, Mladen Lugarić mag.ing.mech. as Board Member and Damir Rubčić BScEng as Board Member.

In May 2017 Mr Željko Ukić was appointed CEO of HŽ Passenger Transport. He has been worked in railway sector for 29 years where, amongst other positions, he has performed the duties of Executive Director of the Passenger Transport Division, Director of Technology Business Unit, Head of Department of Safety and Legislation and many others.

Mr Mladen Lugarić has worked in the railway sector for more than 25 years. He was previously former member of the Management Board of the Wagon maintenance company where he worked since 2015.

Mr Damir Rubčić has worked in the railway sector for 15 years. He was previously Head of the Department of Warehouse and Material Business where he worked since 2012.

UIC congratulates Messrs Ukić, Lugarić and Rubčić on their recent appointments and wishes them every success in their new roles.
