IRSC 2017 – International Railway Safety Conference is taking place this year in Hong Kong from 23 – 26 October 2017

The International Railway Safety Conference (IRSC) is being held from 23 – 26 October 2017 in Hong Kong. This theme of this year’s edition is “Railway Safety – Innovation and Collaboration.”

UIC has participated in this global event since the IRSC was first created.

Due to his important commitments, Jean-Pierre Loubinoux, Director General of UIC, could not attend in person, but sent a video-message to the IRSC audience.

UIC is represented at the event by Mr Bernard Penners, Manager of the UIC Safety Unit, who will deliver a presentation on rail safety topics.

UIC greets the IRSC 2017 participants and organisers and wishes them a fruitful conference.
