In January 2018, UIC has been invited to take part in CES 2018, the global consumer electronics and consumer technology trade show that takes place every year in Las Vegas.

CES is the global stage for innovation, bringing together all those who thrive on the business of consumer technologies. Keynote addresses showcase global industry leaders, offering insights into the technologies changing our industry and our lives.

The organisers of CES Las Vegas have expressed a keen interest in UIC’s work and contribution to:

• Develop an intelligent, integrated and connected mobility chain

• Support the new role of railway stations in cities

• Promote the development of rail transport at world level in order to meet challenges of mobility and sustainable development

On behalf of the international railway community, the UIC Digital team will take part in the CES conference to promote these key messages and to share UIC’s philosophy of Share, Open, Connect.
