This week UIC is in Las Vegas to participate in the Consumer Electronic Show (CES) and several events organised on this occasion.
This will be an opportunity for Jean-Pierre Loubinoux, UIC Director General, together with UIC Chief Digital Officer Francis Bedel, to benefit from this worldwide event to share views with start-ups, and to continue to position UIC in the digital eco-system.
The objective is to continue building bridges between railways and the digital world.
More specifically, UIC will participate this year in CES Government, by taking the floor on 11 January in two round tables, among them one dedicated to the subject of cybersecurity.
Within this worldwide event, the UIC delegation will meet three American governors in order to discuss the intrinsec benefits of railways, and to highlight the digital dimension as one of the ways for railways to continue to bring value to society.
Further information will be published soon in the next edition of UIC eNews.
