“The rapid development of information technology dictates its own rules and requires an adequate and timely response from our side,” saidSerik Tolebaev, director of the branch of JSC NC KTZ, Directorate of Automation and Digitalisation.

"Currently, the Company is actively working to implement the “Digital Railway” industry programme, adopted in the framework of the “Digital Kazakhstan” state programme. New technologies are planned in all key operating segments of the business - freight and passenger transportation, infrastructure development and transport logistics," explained S. Tolebaev.

The introduction of IT-technologies provides optimisation of a number of production processes, increases the capacity of railways, reduces the human factor’s influence on the state of security, and reduces the volume of paperwork.

“The use of modern information technologies is a priority area of activity of JSC NC KTZ. Measures for the digitisation of the transport and logistics complex are aimed at ensuring the transparency of the organisation of transportation, increasing the efficiency of the industry and reducing operating costs,” said S. Tolebayev.
