The 4th Networking & Collaborative Event on 20 September 2018, which is being organised in cooperation with DB, UITP and ETCR will mainly focus on Innovation.
Understanding the needs and desires of customers, as well as the user-centred development of products and services, is essential to business success.
In this crash course training, you/your employees will learn about the innovation method Design Thinking and thus get a feel for their its applications.
In this seminar you will be introduced to the innovation method Design Thinking. You will experience design thinking through hands-on exercises, reflect the potential together, and get a sense of the different uses of this innovation method in your business.
The training will be followed with a “get-together” snack/dinner.

UIC Talent and Expertise Development Platform
The next UIC Talent and Expertise Development Platform, organised in partnership with LDZ, will take place in Riga, Latvia, on 29 and 30 October 2018.
The first day will be a conference addressing the topic “How to attract new staff in a situation of growing competition and opening-up markets”, and will be held at Riga Technical University.
The second day, addressing the Talent & Expertise Development work programme and activities, will be held at LDZ headquarters.

5th UIC World Congress on Rail Training: call for abstracts is now open!
The UIC and its partners ONCF and IFF have the pleasure to inform you that the 5th World Congress on Rail Training “Unite-Inspire-Connect” will take place in Rabat, Morocco, from 9 – 11 October 2019.
The key congress aims are to:
- Share best practice in education, training and human resources development
- Raise awareness in new and innovative technologies, systems and methods to promote effective learning
- Expand and reinforce international networking within training and development professionals and organisations
- Enhance cooperation with rail educational & vocational institutions, in order to showcase the different initiatives towards the younger generation
- Help training and development professionals design and implement training and development programmes that contribute to increase organisational effectiveness
The Congress is targeted at:
- Training directors, executives and experts
- Human resources and human performance and development professionals at all hierarchical layers in the organisation
- Rail educational and vocational institutions
