As part of the 2018 edition of the International Transport Forum (ITF) held in Leipzig last May, a Compendium was prepared by ITF on “Women in Transport: Safety and Security”.
This subject is one of the common topics shared between UIC and UITP in the framework of a Memorandum of Understanding approved last July in Madrid during the UIC General Assembly.
UIC participated in this ITF compendium with a cross-sectoral approach through a common paper prepared together by Carole Escolan-Zeno, Head of the Sustainable Development Unit, Jacques Colliard, Head of the Security Unit and Bernard Penners, Head of the Safety Unit.
