At the end of September, the contract on the geodetic bearing of the high-speed line Praha-Běchovice – Poříčany (HSL Polabí) was published in the Register of Contracts. The supplier in charge of the work, which will be almost CZK 10 million, will be the company GEFOS. Geodesists will be working in the field up to the end of the year; they will hand in results of their work next March. Geodetic documents will considerably speed up the elaboration of documentation for a territorial decision.
In connection with the preparation of the public tender Elaborating documentation for a new high-speed line (HSL) Praha-Běchovice – Poříčany territorial proceedings, a preliminary market consultation took place on 30 September at the seat of Správa železniční dopravní cesty (SŽDC). The railway infrastructure manager is interested in the tender’s ordering terms corresponding to the needs of the first high-speed line section implementation in the Czech Republic as much as possible.
Representatives of 11 designing companies from Czechia, Germany and France took part in the consultation. SŽDC informed potential suppliers on the main items of the order and the model of the considered bids’ evaluation which will be based on applying the Best Value Approach/Best Value Procurement (BVA/BVP) method. This method has the objective of ensuring the widest application of supplier expertise and to provide ordering entities with a possibility to distinguish the suppliers’ experience and quality.
Polabí HSL construction should be launched in 2025 as Phase I of the high-speed line Prague – Brno. SŽDC is aware of the extent of this intent in preparation; that is why it considers it necessary to acquire the support of the general public by regularly updating them on the preparation of HSL construction.
