3rd INTERTRAN workshop

29-30 September 2021

Since 2018 the JSC “RZD” in the framework of the UIC APRA is implementing the project “Measures for the effective development of multimodal transport in the Asia-Pacific Region aimed at increasing the competitiveness of the railway transport” (INTERTRAN).

The main objective of the project is creating seamless information exchange environment focused on the digitalization of business processes in railway transportation in close cooperation with foreign trade operators and governmental controllers.

Besides, the implementation of this project provides conditions to move forward to paperless technology in multimodal transport and opens additional opportunities for the railway operators to increase their revenues through the development of the multimodal business.

On September 29-30, 2021 the JSC “RZD” is organizing the 3rd Workshop on INTERTRAN project.

Day 1 of the workshop (September 29) will be dedicated to the presentation of the INTERTRAN information technology, results of its implementation and further steps basing on possible other IT solutions enabling end-to-end electronic interaction of all participants of multimodal transport operation.

On September 30, 2021 we would like to invite all participants to the technical visit to the Vladivostok Sea Port where they can get acquainted with the work of the container terminal and the advantages of the INTERTRAN information technology.

We kindly invite UIC APRA and UIC members from other regions to take part in the Workshop in Vladivostok.

The registration online will be available soon.
