The UIMC (International Union of Railway Medical Services) World Congress will be held in Roma from 16-18 October 2019.
UIMC has been constituted as an autonomous special group to UIC in 1995. Members of the UIMC are organisations or railway companies that maintain a medical service.
The Annual Congress usually brings railway occupational physicians and railway occupational health services from all round the world together. Not only the world’s railways but also the entire field of transport health, including specialist areas, benefit from the scientific findings and statistical data established by the UIMC delegates.
DAY 1 – Wednesday 16 October The Congress will start in the morning with the Management Committee Meeting. In the afternoon, welcome Speeches will be followed by some scientific presentations.
DAY 2 – Thursday 17 Octoberber On the second day, there will be a technical visit to the National Railway Museum of Pietrarsa, near Naples.
DAY 3 – Friday 18 October The third day will start by the Annual General Meeting in the morning and will continue by the scientific presentations of our members
Please note that the UIMC three day conference is free for UIMC members only (max 4 people for each member).
If you are not a member of UIMC please be advised that the participation fee is 600 € per person.
For companions who are not attending the scientific sessions participation fee is 300 €.
