Join us for the kick-off of the UIC Women in Rail in Africa Task Force, set up within the programme of the UIC Africa region.
The Task Force aims to identify recommendations, conclusions and initiatives that will enable women, as workforce and passengers, to make an even more vigorous contribution to the development of the rail sector in Africa. The main focus will be put on Advocacy and Awareness, Networking and Mentorship, Skills Development and Capacity Building, , in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in general and the policy set out by the African Union in its Agenda 2063 in this area
