21st UIC World Security Congress – Call for Speakers

Iarnród Éireann Irish Rail and the International Union of Railways (UIC) are pleased to announce that the 21st UIC World Security Congress will be held in Dublin, Ireland, from 3rd to 5th November 2026 on the theme: “Collaboration: Tech and Teams for Secure and Resilient Railways”.

This major international event will offer a unique opportunity to share knowledge, explore innovative solutions, and engage in discussions on how to strengthen railway security. An exhibition area will also be available, allowing industry players and solution providers to showcase their latest develop-ments, perspectives, and achievements in the field of railway security.

The event is open to UIC members, including railway security experts, railway company representa-tives, infrastructure managers, and external relevant parties such as representatives from authori-ties, practitioners, trainers, researchers, or academics.

We welcome UIC members to contribute as speakers to one of the four technical sessions:

  • Emerging technologies
  • Securing major events
  • Securing our networks against crime and anti-social behaviours
  • Customer experience and models of security
