The EU-funded H2020 project PROACTIVE led by the UIC Security Division held its seventh consortium progress meeting online on 28 April 2021.
The 15 consortium partners exchanged on the ongoing tasks and discussed the project activities. The project partners also reported on the updates that were made to deliverables following the Mid-term review, all of which have now been officially accepted by the European Commission.
In terms of current research activities, consortium partner law enforcement agencies undertook a review of the PROACTIVE Mobile App during an interactive session whereby all performed four demo tasks: contacting a project representative, download the PROACTIVE pre-incident materials draft, find information relative to a specific incident and report about a new incident. Afterwards, the consortium rated the App with three out of five stars. The inputs from the consortium will be used to update the app in an iterative, co-creation process.
The meeting was also attended by Ms Ana Marusic, one of the External Ethics Advisory Board members, who shared that the project has shown a lot of integrity by paying particular attention to address all the ethical issues.
Going forward, the consortium has agreed to organise a new public facing event for Fall 2021. Stay tuned for details!
The next progress meeting will be organised in July 2021, most likely as an online event or as a joint (physical and remote) meeting if the context will allow it.
