The EU-funded H2020 project PROACTIVE led by the UIC Security Division will soon hold its first workshop with the members of the public. The event will take place online, on 1 October 2020.
The workshop will discuss public perceptions and responses to chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear and explosive (CBRNe) threats as well as the current policy for mitigation and management of such incidents from the perspective of the civil society with a particular focus on vulnerable groups.
The workshop will also analyse how PROACTIVE outputs can meet the needs of the whole range of groups within society, in an inclusive way.
Expected participants include PROACTIVE consortium members, members of the project Civil Society Advisory Board, and relevant eNOTICE partners based on the cooperation agreement with PROACTIVE. Representatives of key vulnerable groups such as the blind and the deaf have already confirmed their interest to attend.
