The Shift2Rail European RIDE2RAIL project participants are pleased to invite you to a free workshop hosted by UITP in Karlsruhe and online on 12 May 2022.

The RIDE2RAIL and IP4MaaS partners will review interactions and discuss with and learn from the project stakeholders, i.e. operators, transport service providers (TSPs), MaaS experts and solution providers, municipalities, institutions and communities of users. Their feedback is essential in order to fulfil the goals of both projects. Thus, the RIDE2RAIL and IP4MaaS consortia plan to present the projects’ progress and achievements, highlighting in particular how the results within the IP4 programme are to be tested in the field during the demo execution phase.

Participants will gain a solid understanding of the features of RIDE2RAIL/IP4MaaS, project timelines and details of activities.

The aims of the workshop are to:

  • present and discuss European experiences of MaaS, offering insights into developments in the sector from different stakeholders’ point of view
  • give participants the opportunity to find out more about guidelines and recommendations for MaaS implementation
  • increase understanding of the RIDE2RAIL—IP4MaaS project objectives and current activities
  • present and discuss the IP4 results and RIDE2RAIL/IP4MaaS demonstrator activities
  • provide information on Innovation Programme 4 (IP4) of the Shift2Rail/Europe’s Rail programme

This event will be organised in the same week as the IT-TRANS conference at Karlsruhe Messe
