UIC Africa is holding a webinar on health and safety challenges faced by railways since Covid-19 as part of the UIC African Railway Thursdays initiative. The webinar will be held on 30 September from 11.00 to 14.00 CET.
The webinar will provide an overview of health and safety in railway transport and will include a discussion on the future “normality” of rail transport, the comparative level of risk for long-distance passengers during Covid-19 and the new global approach to railway safety since Covid-19. To further develop the discussion and exchange best practices, railway network representatives from Europe, Asia and Africa will share their experience of health and safety challenges during Covid-19.
