UIC, the worldwide railway organisation, is organising the 7th edition of the international conference on railway stations, UIC nextstation, to be held in Tehran from 11 – 13 November 2019. This year, after six successful editions, the 7th UIC nextstation Conference, which will be hosted by the Railways of the Islamic Republic of Iran (RAI), will address the key issues under the main theme “Railway Stations Boosting the City”.

The purpose of this event is to understand how Railway Station can/should impact the city in a positive way. In order to make the most of all opportunities, the UIC scientific committee proposes that the panellists and speakers share their expertise and best practice through eight parallel sessions, namely: Station Design (urban planning), Sustainability, Smart Solutions for Stations, Services & Commercial activities, Station Design (building approach), Mobility, Accessibility & Door-to-Door Solutions, Security & Safety, Station Management & Financing.

UIC also invites experts in these fields to submit their paper through the UIC nextstation conference website: https://nextstation.org/application-form-for-speakers. The deadline for submission is 30 June 2019.

The possibility for sponsors to support this international event as well as the possibilities for exhibitors to register and claim their exhibition space has also been opened.
