Description
Railway Protection Force India and UIC were pleased to jointly organise the 18th edition of the UIC World Security Congress held in Jaipur, India on 20-23 February 2023, on the theme of "Railway Security Strategy : Responses and Vision for Future ".
It was a unique opportunity for partners from all regions of the world to discuss the security, the challenges and the strategies put in place to make rail even more attractive for customers.
The event was open to UIC members, including railway security experts, railway company representatives, infrastructure managers, and external relevant parties such as representatives from authorities, practitioners, trainers, researchers, or academics.
Programme
The Congress programme was articulated around four main sessions which will address different aspects of rail security strategies, specifically regarding :
- Protecting critical assets and Freight
- Human Security Approach
- Best Railway security tools and practices across the world
- Vision 2030
