1st International Railway Innovation Forum, with the IRRB plenary meeting and Modern Railways Events


13-16 November 2023, Beijing, China

The 1st International Railway Innovation Forum co-organized by the UIC International Railway Research Board (IRRB) and China Academy of Railway Sciences Corporation Limited will be held on 14 November 2023 together with IRRB plenary meeting and Modern Railways events from 13-16 November 2023 in Beijing China.

The UIC IRRB’s mission is to effectively meet the needs of the railways in the field of research and innovation.
UIC IRRB research and innovation activities support the enhancement of railway transport at global level and contribute to the development of the scientific community through identification of relevant research topics.

To this regard, the objective of organizing the International Railway Innovation Forum is to create a new platform for UIC IRRB members and to share best practices and perspectives in the field of railway research and innovation.

The 1st International Railway Innovation Forum will be organized with the:

  • IRRB plenary meeting, 13 November 2023
  • Modern Railways trade exhibition, 14-16 November 2023
  • 4th World Railway Cooperation and Development Forum, 14 November2023
  • Technical Sessions, 14-16 November 2023
  • Technical visit, 15 November 2023

We are pleased to invite all UIC members to attend these important events and you are encouraged to make presentations at the 1st International Railway Innovation Forum.
