UIC and the UIC Energy efficiency and CO2 emissions Sector chairs propose a new online workshop about trackside energy storage and their use for efficiency and decarbonisation.

The aim is to explore what stationary energy storage can help us with in the development of smart reversible substation, energy recovery and buffering for renewable and recovered energy to achieve decarbonisation of the railways.
