UIC Digital door-to-door solutions - 10 guiding principles webinar

12 October 2021

Introduction

This interactive webinar will launch the new UIC guidelines: Digital door-to-door solutions: 10 guiding principles for railways and is open to all.

It is clear that if we are to achieve the ambition of modal shift to rail and therefore decarbonisation of transport, train travel must be more interconnected and seamlessly link with other modes for the last mile. The door-to-door project has provided a space for ideas and good practices to be shared between railway operators, service mobility operators, and other stakeholders. This new publication is the final output of the project and lists 10 Guiding Principles for railway companies that want to “take the door-to-door opportunity and lead this new transport landscape”. This workshop will be the occasion to introduce the 10 Principles to UIC members, sharing new best practices from those already applying them. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask the author about the guidance and also gain insights from those already using the digital platforms in their businesses.
