UIC Energy and environmental data management for rail efficiency

UIC Energy efficiency & decarbonisation best practice workshop

In this workshop, we will explore how energy and environmental data can be used effectively in the railway sector to make operations and maintenance more sustainable and economical. Showing best-practice examples and experiences, we will demonstrate how these data can be systematically collected, processed, analysed, and evaluated. The aim is to learn about concrete approaches and tools that make energy consumption transparent and help identify and verify potential savings. In this way, we will provide practical insights into how data-driven optimisation of energy efficiency and operational concepts can be achieved.

Note: UIC Members are invited to join the Energy & CO2 Sector meeting that will be held on the 4th of November in Dusseldorf (the day before the workshop).
