The UIC Global Rail Freight Conference (GRFC) is a landmark in the international rail freight calendar. The conference, which takes place in a different city, in a different country every other year, is one of the leading and most prestigious events dedicated to rail freight and logistics at world level. After Rotterdam two years ago where the GRFC took place in parallel with the TEN-T Days of the European Commission, the GRFC is moving to Genoa, another historical landmark of modal integration and multimodal development.
6th Edition GRFC
After a series of successful editions in Delhi (2007), Saint-Petersburg (2010), Tangier (2012), Vienna (2014) and Rotterdam (2016), the International Union of Railways (UIC), in partnership with Ferrovie dello Stato Italiane S.p.A. (FS), are organizing the sixth edition of the GRFC in Genoa, Italy from 26 to 28 June 2018.
The main conference topic of the 2018 edition is “Modal Integration at the service of Global Distribution”.
