UIC organised a workshop that was dealing with strategies, experience and projects to avoid carbon dioxide (CO2), nitrogen oxides (NOx) and particulate matter (PM) emissions by phasing out diesel traction and implementing new technologies in order to improve railways emission factors.
The workshop took place in Zürich on 13 November 2019.
Important note: An Energy and CO2 Network Meeting was following the workshop the day after (on 14 November) in the same venue from 9h to 15h. Participation is restricted to UIC members.
