UIC invites you to the 2nd Zero Waste Railways workshop on Circular Outflows, to be held IN
PERSON on 28 February 2023, in UIC headquarters, Paris, France

As part of its ZERO WASTE RAILWAYS workshop series, UIC invites you to come and share your best practices and successes aiming at making rail transport outflows 100% circular.

This IN PERSON one-day workshop is part of the week-long UIC ‘Sustainability Action Week’ 27th Feb – 2nd March 2023

The proposed agenda is divided into three parts

The workshop will open on a keynote by Sustainability provocateur and cultural protagonist Dr. Leyla Acaroglu, who will propose innovative tools and vision with relation to circular outflows and invite the audience to think out of the box.

Best practices from the rail sector towards circular outflows : SNCF Réseau, NS, Eurospec, other speakers tbc
Digital solutions : Network Rail, DB tbc
Construction projects: SBB, other speaker tbc
Extending the lifetime of products, Supply industry : Alstom, Schneider Electric

Interactive Session on how to address the impacts with Brieuc Saffré, Circulab

Round table and wrap up

Ample time will be allocated to exchanges between speakers and audience, and for networking.
